Choose Kostrena when you want a proper beach day, swimming, a walk along the shore and a more relaxed family setup.
In peak summer, leave earlier in the day for easier parking and less crowded beaches. Bring water shoes for pebble beaches.

Kostrena
East of Rijeka, Kostrena has a long stretch of pebble beaches and coves. It is often easier for parking than Opatija in high season and works well for families.
